Is @antron OK? (maybe off topic)

Some weeks ago I stumbled about a profile page stating that @antron is from Russia. I can’t verify that and even if it’s true it doesn’t necessarily mean he lives there.

@antron hasn’t posted in this forum for a while, there are no commits on Github since april, no tweets since may. A week ago, I sent him a DM here in the forum, no answer.

Does anybody know if he is OK?

As far as I can say, the last public message from him was on the Reason ML discord (26/09). However, I will not say that everything is fine. According to what news (urkraine/russia) said, we definitely should be worries about him.

His last public message in the Reason discord was just a couple weeks ago FWIW.

That’s not to say that all is well for him, of course; it’s not at all unreasonable to wonder about his welfare given current events and the drop-off of his presence online.

As far as I know @antron is doing well. I don’t know when (or if) he’ll return to contributing to OCaml though, and we need to proceed as such.

I’m happy to hear that. Let’s hope he’ll find his way back to this community some day.

Thanks  I am indeed fine, and can make my way back to the community rather quickly, at least in principle

@antron would you be interested by some contracting work for my company (R2C). We’re making the
semgrep command-line tools and we’re always looking for competent ocaml programmers.
Let me know.
