What’s the best way, today, to contact the OCaml platform team?
I’ve drafted a PR to remove unused mailing lists from ocaml.org/governance/, as to reduce noise around communication (the mailing lists haven’t been used in 6 years).
Paradoxically, I tried contacting the platform team by email to ask about this, but the email bounced, it looks like the mailing list system is down.
(and noone has stepped up to offer to maintain such a service, and I’m not surprised)
As for alternatives, the most obvious solution is using this forum to discuss issues around the platform. I didn’t see the GitHub issue ping on that PR you created since I have >10000 unread GitHub messages in my email, and I can no longer keep up with that traffic.
No worry at all re github ping, I thought this was something like that, which is why I pinged here. I’m involved in a lot less than you are and can barely keep up myself
I’ll try to find time to update the PR and put this forum as target. But good to know that removing mailing lists is indeed the right thing to do, thank you!
