I am not familiar with installing opam on Windows, but you might want to follow the latest instructions from ocaml.org/install

Hmm, what is happening (I think) is that the mingw-w64 C headers are being included as though they’re building for UCRT, but OCaml’s configuration isn’t expecting that.

Would it be possible for you to delete C:\Users\kozio\AppData\Local\opam and run opam init -v instead (which should produce a lot more output) and post that in a Gist or some such?

Thanks for help, I managed to successfully install the opam, what worked for me was updating msys2. :grinning:
