Hello everyone

I’m having trouble installing Dune on Windows. Here’s my terminal output for some information.

  • make install
  • Docker installation
  • Try lots of things
    and

Could someone help me??

It’s not a familiar setup to me but what happens if you just:

C:\msys64\mingw64\bin\curl.exe https://ocaml.org

It seems that curl is not seing the certs you install.

When I do C:\msys64\mingw64\bin\curl.exe https://ocaml.org it’s me :

Basically you curl does not see up-to-date certificates. I’m not sure how you got that curl install but one thing you can try to do if you want to move on is to download a bundle from https://curl.se/docs/caextract.html to C:\msys64\mingw64\bin\curl-ca-bundle.crt, normally (as mentioned on this page) curl will pick it up.

Also, you might avoid using your broken MSYS2 installation entirely by re-installing the environment:

opam init --reinit

… and when asked whether you want Cygwin or MSYS2, choose the builtin Cygwin installation.
