[ANN] Raven Dev Meetings

Happy Monday,

With the start of the Outreachy cohort last week, for which Raven is running two internships (Outreachy Mentors Wanted - #5 by tmattio), we’re starting bi-weekly Raven dev meetings open to everyone.

We’ll hold the first one today, Monday 15th December at 10am CET - 2.30pm IST.

We’ll be discussing the outreachy projects (i.e. building an OxCaml backend for Nx, and building a terminal-based monitoring dashboard for Kaun), as well as current Raven priorities for the next release.

It’s open to everyone, so feel free to join if you’re interested. It should be particularly relevant if you’re looking to contribute, or if you’re a user and would like to discuss feature requests or issues you have.

Looking forward to seeing some of you there!

Thank you for supporting the community, @tmattio.
I’ll get back to contributing once I see where Type Theory fits in AI Safety.

We’ll be skipping the dev meeting on the 29th for the holidays, so the next Raven dev meeting will be on Monday, January 5, 2026, at 10:00 AM CET (2:30 PM IST).

@tmattio I joined the link but I get

Apologies, I mixed up the timezones. We’re holding the meeting an hour late, in a few minutes.

No worries. I’ll join now.

We’re moving the Raven dev meetings to a monthly basis. The next dev meeting will be Monday, February 2, 2026, at 10:00 AM CET with the same link: https://meet.google.com/giw-bsdy-sjf

We’ve seen limited interest in the dev meetings so far, so I’m considering discontinuing them after the current Outreachy internships. Let me know if you’re in favor of keeping them, that will help gauge the community interest beyond the attendance of the first two meetings.

Quick reminder that that the next Raven dev meeting is tomorrow, 10am CET. Don’t hesitate to join to follow the ongoing Raven development, including the two Outreachy internships (OxCaml Nx backend and the TUI model training dashboard). We’ll also keep some time for community discussion if you have questions or topic you’d like to discuss.
